The winery was founded in 2001. Its spectacular architecture and the efficiency of its modern winemaking facilities place Campo Viejo at the forefront of avant-garde wineries and new wine culture. Some of its processes are a return to traditional practices, such as movement of grapes by gravity flow and the underground winery, examples of intelligence at the service of the end result.
Campo Viejo owns 280 hectares of vineyards, a bottle ageing cellar holding six million bottles and an ageing warehouse with 70,000 barrels, 70% of which are American oak and 30% French, making it the largest room of its type in Europe and one of the largest in the world.
Our brands are: Campo Viejo, Alcorta, Azpilicueta and Marqués de Villamagna.
Visits are by appointment Mondays through Fridays from 9 AM to 12:30 PM and 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
